Unschooling for the Littles Co-op

There are quite a few families in our unschooling group with preschool age kids so we decided to start a co-op just for them!
Many of our other activities are good for all ages, but it's always fun to get down with some good old little kid play!

Not to mention have some time with like minded parents to chat about the fun/difficulties/adventures of kids of this age!

I forgot my big fancy camera, but I managed to capture a few with my cellphone.

Today's theme was the Dr. Seuss book "My Many Colored Days".

Free play time while we wait for the rest of our friends to show up!

Teri's house is a kids dream!

Practicing flapping like bird while listening to the story!

Next they got to make their own  "many colored me's"!

More free play!

City building with friends!
I'll probably steal some more picture's from Teri when she puts them up!

We had so much fun and can't wait until it's our turn to host!

Rockport Resevoir with the Salt Lake Unschoolers!

This was a really amazing outing that we all enjoyed. Until the end when lightning and thunder and hail drove us out! It was glorious before then!

And this is about where there the evil rain/hail/thunder doom started and I hid my camera from the elements and then shortly after we ran for cover!

I stole a picture from Teri at Joyful Liberation because OMG the cute! AND she got pictures of the magician and balloons from the pizza place we went to when the rain drove us out!

A beautiful day to be a homeschooler!

Not Back to School Picnic with the Utah Unschoolers!

Today was so much fun! Splashing around with the Utah Unschoolers at Liberty Park! I can think of no better way to celebrate being homeschoolers!

There was parachute play!

 So many happy faces!

 Much splashing in the water!

Emie found a "friend"

Showing her find to B.

Rowan up a tree!

Willow brought a couple of her pet rats-

Marley

Illusive teenagers.
So many friends, new and old!

Dorothy may think Willow is her BFF.

It's a good good life.

(Not Picured: Alex at his second day of 9th grade. He missed our fun.)
