Alpine Loop and Cascade Springs

We went on a Sunday drive and then a little hike to see all the spectacular fall colors.

Alex was with his dad, but the rest of the kids and Travis joined me!

I got so many photos!

Already have snow capped mountains in September!

The Salt Lake Valley as we headed toward Provo.

The colors are truly amazing this time of year!

8060 feet on the Alpine Loop!

We made it to Cascade Springs! It was a little crowded because of the weekend. I think next year we'll try to make the trip midweek instead.

Exploring!

There were a lot of signs to tell us what we were seeing!

It's impossible to get Cass to make a normal face in photos!

Almost...

Collecting leaves!

Selfie!

Butterflies!

Travis took a turn with the camera.

I think she loves him.

Time to head home!

Heber Valley.
We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place!

  1. Well, you should gone East out of Cascades Springs, down into Midway and then over Guardsmans Pass and down Big Cottonwood Canyon for trip home. Or maybe you did looking at last pic?
