We participated in the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen (Gishwhes) for the first time this year! It was so much fun! The hunt was started by Misha Collins (who plays Castiel on Supernatural) to help bring more joy and good will in to the world. Learn more about Gishwhes here.
You form a group of 15 people from around the world to participate (or random people will be added to your team to make a group of 15) in the hunt. The hunt items are things like "Make a dress out of corn husks" or "Have a woman in Victorian dress have high tea while being pulled behind a train" or "Dress up as the Dessert Fairy and bring ice cream to local first responders".
We had a ton of fun! Here are some of the items we completed:
Make a totalitarian leader out of feminine hygiene products. I made Mussolini.
Let a child pick your clothes and do your hair and make-up for the day. Take them grocery shopping.
Do something nice for someone for no reason. I took my nephew Dominick for a milkshake, just because.
Write a regret down on paper then bury it and make a tombstone for it.
Reenact a your dream from last night. I dreamed my guinea pig Rufus was trying to bite my face.
Acquire citizenship to a nation with one of the lowest populations on earth.
We will definitely be participating again next year!!
